This describes the current prototype and pre-launch website. Purchasing and public downloads are not available. The final policy and business contact details will be published before sales begin.

Your desktop stays on your Mac.

LidFX uses ScreenCaptureKit to draw the folding effect. Desktop frames remain in local memory; the app does not save recordings or upload your screen. The demo on this website uses original sample artwork, not a captured personal desktop.

Updates and licensing

The current development build has no active update feed or checkout. When enabled, update checks will contact the update host. Planned online licence activation will send the licence and activation details to our licensing provider. These services and retention details will be documented before launch.

This website

This site does not include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, forms, or payment collection. The hosting service may process normal connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the site.

For support or privacy questions, email lidfx.support@gmail.com. We use your email address and the information you send to respond to your request. Support messages are handled through Gmail. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive desktop screenshots.
